Business Plan
Tweed Communigate™

Introduction
The following is an actual business plan I am developing to provide to EWN partners and agents. These new enterprises will operate under the  Communigate™ banner. This particular plan is for the Tweed, however, it will suit most areas in Australia, NZ and internationally. The plan provides step by step instructions on how to achieve regular annuity based revenue. The executive statement is as follow:

With the help of EWN and an investment of $200.00 Tweed Communigate™ will develop an annuity income exceeding several thousand dollars per month.

Tweed Communigate™ is a media company supporting the EWN network, providing content and selling advertising and sponsorship to local businesses. This business plan describes the establishment and operation of Tweed Communigate™, a unique and innovative business initiative made possible by look Here Pty Ltd.
Look Here operates the Australian Early Warning Network (EWN), a multi-channel ALERT system that provides users of the system the ability to instantly and simultaneously broadcast alerts and notifications to individuals, groups, or person/s within a specific area over multiple communication mediums. The system is geographically aware and GIS enabled and can be used worldwide. In Australia the Early Warning Network (EWN) provides free notification of emergencies and early warning of severe weather events such as hail storms. EWN tracks severe weather events and alerts people directly in the path of a storm with potential for hail, flash flooding or damaging winds. People can elect to receive alerts via mobile, pager, email and desktopALERT™. EWN also offers the free use of its multi-channel notification system to community organizations and emergency services. See Attachment A.
The purpose of EWN is to save lives and protect property. The role of Tweed Communigate is to support that purpose.
EWN is establishing local agencies in each shire or county for the purpose of promoting and supporting the system. EWN charges a fee of $200 per district (Council area) and ten percent of revenues generated by the agent. Tweed Communigate™ through local sponsors, business users and advertisers will develop an annuity income exceeding several thousand dollars per month.

Tweed Communigates™ product is media, a unique channel to deliver local content, sponsorship and messages in a positive manner. In conjunction with EWN, Tweed Communigate will work to promote the use of EWN into the community with the knowledge that the more users the greater number of people are protected, the better value the channel is to emergency responders and greater the return to approved sponsors and advertisers. Sponsorship never compromises an alert message and only accompanies operational and administrative messaging in a manner that does not degrade or devalue the free alert service. The channels where EWN interfaces with the community are:

  • Distribution of alerts

  • desktopALERT™ (In addition to alert delivery, this will establish itself as a significant community service and utility. Four out of five people registering to EWN do so through desktopALERT™. This small client side application has been designed to deliver a range of services to encourage regular interaction and use of the applet. See Attachment B.

  • EWN monthly news letter
