Why do I Need a Merchant Account

While there are many ways to accept money over the internet and ezimerchant provides numerous options, if you are going to accept credit cards you need a merchant account with a bank.

Recommended Banks are Westpac and St George. Our own experiences and those of thousands of customers has proven conclusively that these two banks HELP you, and establish the facility quickly and easily. ANZ and other banks have delivered what could only be described as nightmare experiences.

You may wish to use your own bank. However, we have substantial experience going through this process with our customers. A lot of banks are not interested in the merchant business of small and medium business. This is where many potentially successful enterprises give up because of being stuffed around by the banks.
